PRIVACY POLICY
Informative note provided according to art. 13 of EU Regulation n. 2016/679 (hereinafter “GDPR”) to users who interact with the website of Relais Juliette S.r.l. and use its services.With this privacy policy, Relais Juliette S.r.l., based in Turin (Italy) - Corso Bolzano n. 4 (hereinafter “Data Controller”), informs users accessing the website relaisjuliette.it about the processing of their personal data. This does not apply to all other websites, referring indirectly to Relais Juliette S.r.l., eventually consulted by users through links. This privacy policy has been drafted on the basis of the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, proportionality and relevance and in accordance with the GDPR.
Purpose of data processing
The personal data that users provide us by accessing to the website with shall be processed for the following purposes:
- management of the users’ requests;
- management of the reservations;
- fulfilment of obligations set out in the laws, regulation or EU law.
The provision of personal data for the above purposes is required and the refusal to allow the processing of personal data will prevent the owner from processing the various requests. The provided data will be processed for:
- marketing, including the transmission, also by e-mail, of advertising and / or information material;
- management of the “ask for more information” option.
The Data Controller
The Data Controller is the company Relais Juliette S.r.l., in the person of its legal representative pro tempore. The list of the is available at our office. The list of Data Processors can be consulted at our registered office located in Turin, Corso Bolzano n. 4, upon setting of an appointment.
Place of data processing
The treatments connected to this website take place in both the Relais Juliette’s registered office in Turin - Corso Bolzano n. 4, as well as in the other seat of the Bed & Breakfast, located in La Morra (CN), Borgata Castagni n. 6. These are carried out by the Controller and/or the Processor and/or by external suppliers - delegated by the Controller - for occasional system maintenance operations on the Italian web server. The place of storage of the data and of the company web server is managed by the hosting provider Principi ADV.
Data processing methods
The treatment is carried out with the operations or set of operations indicated by art. 4 of the GDPR 2016/679: collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, consultation, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, alignment or combination, restriction, transmission, erasure and destruction of data. The operations may be carried out with the use of paper and electronic or automated means by the Data Controller, the Responsible Persons and/or the person in charge of the observance of precautionary measures that guarantee its security and confidentiality. The Data Controller and the Responsible shall process personal data by taking appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction of personal data. The processing may be carried out on behalf of the Data Controller - using the same methods and criteria as described above - by authorized staff involved in the organization of the website (administrative, commercial, marketing, system administrator) or by external parties (such as technical service providers, IT companies, communication agencies) appropriately appointed as Responsible, according to art. 28 of the GDPR.
Data storage
The period of storage of users' personal data depends on the purpose for which they are processed and is therefore variable. The data collected for marketing purposes will be kept for a maximum period of 10 years, starting from the moment when the interested party gives his consent. At the end of the period, if the user does not confirm his consent to the processing of his data for marketing purposes, such data will be deleted.
Data, object of the processing
1. Browsing data
Users' personal data are acquired automatically and implicitly by the IT systems and software that govern the operations of the website, in accordance with the Internet communication protocols. Such information is not collected for the purpose of identification of the users; however, such data could enable users to be identified, through operations involving data held by third parties. The users’ IP addresses are always anonymous and the domain names of the users’ PCs used to access the website are not registered. The addresses in URI notation (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (good end, mistake etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and computer environment of the user are data used only for the purposes of obtaining anonymous statistical information about the use of the website and of controlling its proper functioning. Such data are deleted immediately after their processing. The data concerning web contacts shall not be storaged for 24 months, with the exception of liability cases with reference to computer crimes.
2. Optional data freely provided by users
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of requests through the forms and all e-mails sent to the addresses indicated on the website entail the acquisition of the sender’s address - necessary for the response to the relative requests - and of any other personal data submitted. The same applies to users/customers who provide their personal data to use the B&B services by telephone, fax or personally at the accommodation facility. Specific summary information shall be gradually reported and/or displayed on the pages of the website, prepared for particular services available upon request.
3. Cookies
No personal data of the users is acquired by the website. No cookies are used for the transmission of personal information, nor any systems for tracking users. The use of c.d. session cookies (which are not persistently stored on the users' computers and vanish with the closing of the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) and is needed to enable security and efficiency surfing of the website. The use of such session cookies avoid the use of other computer techniques potentially detrimental to the privacy of users' navigation and does not allow the acquisition of users' personal data.
Data communication
The processing of the collected data is carried out by internal staff of the B&B for this purposes identified and authorized, according to specific instructions given in line with the regulations in force, as well as accordingly trained. The collected data, when necessary or instrumental for the execution of the stated purposes, may be processed by third parties, appointed as External Data Processing Managers or, as appropriate, introduced as independent owners, namely:
- persons, companies, associations or professional offices providing assistance and advices to our Company;
- companies, institutions, associations performing services related to the execution of the abovementioned purposes (analysis and market research services, management of payments by credit card, maintenance of computer systems);
- public institution and public administrations for the fulfillment of the law and for the respect of the Consolidated Law on Public Security.
Rights of interested parties
At any time, pursuant to articles 15-21 of the GDPR, you may exercise the right to :
- obtain from the Data Controller the confirmation of the processing of your personal data and, eventually, to obtain the access to it;
- obtain indications about the purposes and methods of processing, the categories of provided personal data, the recipients and / or categories of recipients to whom the data have been or will be communicated and, when possible, the storage period;
- obtain the correction, integration and erasure of data;
- obtain the limitation of processing and obtain the data portability, meaning their reception from the Data Controller, in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device, and their transmission to another Data Controller without hindrance;
- withdraw the consent at any time without undermining the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation;
- file a complaint to the Italian Data Protection Authority for the alleged violation of the Regulation.
Children
Services given by B&B Juliette are aimed exclusively at persons over 18. As for minors, in the absence of a valid consent of the parents or a legal representative, the Data controller shall have the right to cancel the reservation and proceed to the cancellation of any data acquired.
Interaction with social networks and external platforms
This website allows interactions with social networks, or with other external platforms, with direct connections from its pages. The interactions and information acquired from this website shall be always subject to the privacy settings of the User of each social network.
Booking
The request for availability for stays at the B&B can be made with the booking form published in this website. To confirm the booking, the credit card details (card number, expiry date, CCV) shall be requested as a guarantee of the booking and shall be cancelled with the check out. Relais Juliette reserves the right to check the validity of the indicated credit card. To confirm/guarantee the reservation of a single room, you will have to enter the credit card details that will be used both to guarantee the reservation and to retain the amount due to the structure in case of late cancellations or no showing up, in accordance with the following terms. To confirm/guarantee the booking of more than one room, the payment of a deposit corresponding to the cost of one night for each room booked is required. Such deposit can also be made by bank transfer. The entering of the credit card details shall be used both to guarantee the reservation and to retain the amount due to the structure in case of late cancellations or no showing up, in accordance with the following term.
In case of single room reservations, the cancellation terms are the following:
- up to 7 days prior to arrival, the cancellation is free of charge;
- for cancellations made after the abovementioned deadline, the first night will be charged;
- In case of not showing up, you will be charged with the full amount of the stay.
In case of a reservation of more than one room, the cancellation terms are the following:
- for cancellations up to 7 days prior to arrival, the amount paid as a deposit shall be fully refunded;
- for cancellations made after the abovementioned deadline, the deposit shall be retained as a penalty;
- In case of not showing up, you will be charged with the full amount of the stay.
Payment is made at the B&B. Tourist tax is excluded.
